Soccer Coaching 2000 has provided a comprehensive coaching service to primary schools in Wolverhampton and surrounding areas since 1999.
We provide physical education, school sport, physical activity and out of school hours activities including holiday camps.
Our 38 full-time sports coaches are employees of the Company enabling us to deliver a completely reliable and committed service.
Coaches leading sessions have a minimum Level 2 Coaching Certificate, they work in pairs and their assistant coaches have a minimum Level 1 Coaching Certificate. Ongoing training including Safeguarding, Emergency Aid, level 3 Certificate in supporting the delivery of Physical Education and School Sport and weekly on the job training is monitored, arranged or delivered by the Company.
We are able to bring our years’ of experience in the field to the mentoring, monitoring and development of our coaches.
To ensure that our delivery meets the requirements and expectations of our schools, we have produced a quality evaluation form for them to use and Senior Coaches maintain regular contact to facilitate feedback.
The scheme is designed to recognise high quality providers who support Physical Education, School Sport and Physical Activity.
Soccer Coaching 2000 received the Outstanding Contribution Award from ConnectEd Partnership Wolverhampton.
The award recognised the support provided to Wolverhampton Schools during the last year throughout the pandemic and the lockdown. We continued to support key worker children within the school day and on holiday camps using the Rainbow Hour resource.
